1932 the car is offered as "THE KINGSLEY Drop-head Coupe", 1933 only as "Drop-head Coupé" by Grose, Ltd, Northampton. This pretty cabriolet is well proportioned and equipped. The bodywork with a stable frame is either covered with metal panels or covered with bodywork fabric. It has two doors, the windows are retractable and the doors are lockable. The one-piece windscreen made of safety glass is mounted in a chromed frame and fitted with an electric windscreen wiper. The spacious dickey seat in the rear offers comfortable space for two passengers or luggage. 1933 only the version with metal panels and cellulose lacquer is offered. The full-length, easily longitudinally adjustable front seat is retained. The main difference from last year is of course the larger engine. Otherwise the new car front, the new front wings, the larger bonnet and the narrower bulkhead fairing are visible. | ||
