The new Rover Seventy Five

Described by the Motor Editor of “Farmer & Settler” after a 144 mile test run.

“A TRIBUTE TO SOUND CRAFTSMANSHIP
in which nothing has been overlooked in this perfect family motor car.”

Outstanding features were

  • Remarcable comfort and ease in driving.
  • The perfect finish of the car.
  • Excellent dustproofing.
  • Reliable and silent engine performance.
  • Standard fitting of accessoires as in more expensive cars.

“Best speed obtained on the run was 82 m.p.h. at which control was relaxed and easy.
“Brakes are very efficient, and hydraulic on all four wheels. We jammed them hard down at 50 m.p.h. and came to a steady halt without any loss of control.
“The ROVER is a really fine car and appears to have been minutely planned to this end.”
