for recent developments in engine design have increased its power to an amazing degree. The latest model has a 4-speed gearbox, and this, in combination with the much more powerful engine, has enormously improved maximum and average speeds. Very few cars can overtake the new Rover Fourteen. As for reliability, that was always proverbal. Gear control is right hand, leaving unencumbered room in the wide front seat for 3 passengers.
