ROVER 'Light Six'

Body Shapes

1929 - 1930

The ROVER 'Light Six' is only available in two body styles: A two-door 'Sportsman's Saloon' and a four-door 'Saloon'. Both versions are equipped with a body of the Weymann - type, which is produced by ROVER under licence.

In both cars the engine of the ROVER 'Two Litre Six' is used. Thanks to the lighter construction, both models reach a top speed of over 70 mph / 113 km/h.

At the 'Sportsman's Saloon' the front wheels are covered by mudguards that move with the wheels, as is common with motorcycles. They are aerodynamically more favourable than the Saloon's protruding fenders.
