The illustration of the two-seater, open ROVER 8hp with raised hood - available as an optional extra - is taken from the second catalogue from 1905.
The body is visually refined compared to 1904, note the fine lines on the sides. Also the upholstery of the seat seems to be of higher quality.
The hood is held by two leather straps, a windscreen is still missing. Therefore, the hood is certainly not yet the ideal weather protection, rather a "wind catcher".
The open three-seater ROVER 8hp is shown in the 1905 catalogue.
At that time it was rather unusual for the manufacturer of the car to offer car bodies himself. Usually the chassis is bought and provided with the desired body by specialized body builders.
Instead of the usual spoke wheels, the increasingly popular "artillery wheels" are mounted here.
Also from the 1905 catalogue is the illustrated open four-seater ROVER 8hp.
The four-seater seems to correspond completely to the two-seater in the front part of the car. The two rear seats are obviously reached from the rear, as there is no possibility of access. Here, too, the increasingly popular "artillery wheels" are mounted instead of the usual spoke wheels.
