Engine
Single cylinder, 4 h.p.; 85 x 88 m/m bore and stroke, made entirely in our own works.
Three ball bearings to crank shaft, the two on chain side specially large.
Nickel steel valves, specially large and interchangeable.
Cylinder easily detachable without removing other parts.
4½-in. ground clearance.
Tappets, special silent pattern, and easily adjusted or removed.
Roller Big end.
 -- Special light piston, connecting rod and flywheels.
Carburetter and Control

The throttle and extra air are both controlled from the handle-bar, and both work inward to advance and outward to retard.
The Magneto, also controlled from the handle-bar, works outward to advance.
Ignition
By weather-proof high tension magneto, placed behind the engine and driven by adjustable silent chain, the latter covered with aluminium dust-proof case.
Transmission
Silent chain drive to clutch on gearbox, thence by Brampton spring chain to rear wheel.

Frame
Wheelbase 54 in.Wheelbase 53 in.
Very low saddle position.
Frame is made exceptionally strong and suitable for sidecar work.
Tyres and Wheels
650 x 65, Avon tyres on extra strong rims.
Petrol and Oil
Two gallons of petrol and three pints of lubricating oil can be carried.
The specially constructed tank is fitted with large fillers, and supplied with strainers.
Special oil pump is fitted with shut-off valve, which prevents any leakage to the engine.
A tap and pipe are fitted for injecting petrol into the cylinder.
Stands and Carrier
Stands are fitted to back and front wheels. Special spring clips are fitted to the stands.
A large and strong carrier of a special design over back wheel.
Saddle and Toolbag
Specially large and comfortable saddle.
Two extra large pannier bags for tools, etc.
Mudguards
Large and wide mudguards are fitted. The rear guard and top of carrier swing up on removing two screws, faciliating tyre repairs. Light and effective mudguards are fitted.
Spring Fork
The Rover Druid spring fork is fitted as standard.
Addition of spring links at top, which take up all end thrust.Rigid top links.
Finish
Best black enamel; tank black enamelled, suitably panelled in aluminium and red.
Brakes
Specially strong and easily detachable brake on front wheel, operated by hand, and acting on separate rim.
Left (near-side) pedal operates very powerful internal expanding brake in rear hub.
Number Plates
Back and front number plates are supplied, of strong section, firmly attached to the front guard extension and rear of carrier.
Three-Speed Gear
The countershaft three-speed gearbox gives ratio of 5 1/3 to 1, 9 to 1, and 15 1/4 to 1, with direct drive on top.The countershaft three-speed gearbox gives ratio of 4 1/2 to 1, 7 3/4 to 1, and 14 to 1, with direct drive on top.
For solo work a larger sprocket may be fitted to special order, making top gear 4.6 to 1, and others in proportion.For sidecar work a smaller sprocket may be fitted to special order, making top gear 5 to 1, and others in proportion.
Silencer
Specially large and efficient silencer is fitted. -- 
Foot - BoardsFoot - Rests
Rover patent swinging foot-boards fitted as standard.Comfortable rubber foot-rests are fitted.
