ROVER 8 hp "Eight"

Specifications

1919 - 1924

Specifications for the ROVER 8hp 'Eight' are available from the years 1919 and 1923 (for model year 1924).

The specifications from 1919 refer to the original 8hp 'Cycle Car' with spoked wheels and 896 cc - engine, the values from 1923 describe the last models with disc wheels and 1135 cc - engine.

The lower value for body width 1923 can be explained by the narrower fenders compared to 1919.

The weight has increased significantly due to the new engine and changes to the bodywork.

The fall in prices is due to competition from the Austin Seven.
