The text of the advert is partially badly readable, therefore it is repeated here: Two fine products of The Rover engineers believe that, in automobile production, high engineering quality comes first. The new Rover ’75’ gives substance to this belief. The basic qualities always associated with the Rover name are found throughout - silence of running, superb mechanical and coachwork finish, and lightness of control - plus the very latest developments in fine automobile design. The 4-wheel drive Land-Rover brings Rover quality to agriculture and industry. This hard working, versatile vehicle does service as a tractor, a fast, economical delivery truck or (with its power take-off in use) becomes a mobile power unit with pulley or shaft drive. Built to give good service for many years, its non-corrodible light alloy bodywork and galvanized exterior steelwork ensures against deterioration under even the worst conditions. When it comes to stacking, or any similar operation requiring belt or shaft drive, the Land-Rover’s power take-off takes care of the job. (Below) The Land-Rover provides economical transport. Carries and tows heavy loads with ease. Transfer and main gearbox together give a range of eight forward speeds. ROVER AND LAND-ROVER Exhibited at the New York Motor Show | ||
