Insight into the ROVER P6BS - this is how you imagine a super sports car.
Picture from 'Motor' from 30 March 1968
At the front you can see the inclined radiator with fan, next to it the battery, the fuel tank, above it the spare wheel and the rack and pinion steering.
The supply and return lines of the engine cooling system are visible under the passenger compartment, with an expansion tank in the engine compartment.
The complicated exhaust system and the deDion rear axle are clearly visible. The two SU carburettors with their transparent plastic cover protruding upwards from the bonnet would probably be omitted if an injection system were used - an "eye-catcher" would then unfortunately be omitted.

The components are beautifully coloured and therefore easy to distinguish. The erot shown suspension and drive elements also make the steering clearly visible.
The two front seats are located in the centre of the vehicle, the third seating position is shown behind the passenger seat. Even with the front passenger seat advanced, the seating position is probably not very comfortable due to the inclination of the rear window.
Three components are marked:
1 = inclined radiator
2 = fuel tank
3 = boot behind the engine
Above the fuel tank is the spare wheel.
Structure and transmission pattern of the ROVER P6BS.

The figure on the left shows the structure of the body with the reinforcements for the front suspension and the additional support for the engine/transmission complex.
The picture on the right shows schematically the power flow - from the crankshaft via the clutch, the chain drive to the "reversed" gearbox and the intermediate shaft to the differential - an impressive construction.
