In issue no. 8 / 1968 the German motor magazine Auto, Motor und Sport reports about the ROVER P6BS in a short article entitled "Dream Rover". The report complains that "the only regrettable thing about the promising new Rover prototype is that the project had long since died when the management agreed to introduce it to the press".

In March 1968 the British journal Motor published an article entitled "The experiment that escaped" - a report on the experimental vehicle now called 'ROVER/ALVIS BS'. The report gives many details about the development and the construction of the vehicle.
